The Meat Industry Association (MIA) is the voluntary trade association representing nearly all of New Zealand’s sheep and beef processors, marketers and exporters.

MIA provides a collective industry voice and advocacy on a wide range of topics, including trade policy and market access, technical and regulatory issues, workforce issues and science and innovation.

MIA invests in Research and Development (R&D) on behalf of its members to increase the profitability and sustainability of the red meat processing sector.
